Summer 2007 Newsletter Welcome to the Summer edition of the Body Electric School newsletter. Spring has been full of new connections, workshops and a
build up of energy for the coming holiday season and with a fully
booked Dear Love
of Comrades Intensive in February. It's exciting to know
that so many men want to continue their erotic exploration at a
deeper level through a week long Intensive. I look forward to sharing a

The Dear Love of Comrades – Sold Out! Next year's Dear Love of Comrades intensive retreat has sold out. We're very excited by the prospect that so many Body Electric graduates are interested to expand their understanding and connection with themselves and their fellow men. With this expression of interest, I'm excited to announce that such positive feedback has encouraged us to make this an annual event and we will be running The Dear Love of Comrades again in February 2009. Balin Garu Spirit Camp: May 2–6
A five day retreat with a variety of workshops and events offering the opportunity to create the experience you want, be it filled with relaxing in the spa or exploring your growing edge. Enjoy the chance to establish lasting friendships within a community of sacred brothers. Activities and topics include: yoga, meditation, massage, creativity, erotic healing, nature walks, sweat lodge, body painting, movement and dance, evening fire rituals, small group sharing, dances and much, much more. This is an opportunity to explore greater intimacy with other men that honours the sacredness of each of us. Come and explore the power of an open loving heart with other men on the beautiful banks of the Clarence river. Balin Garu is a beautiful 500 acre property located 40mins north west of Grafton on the banks of the pristine upper Clarence river. It offers gay men a private, clothing-optional retreat and sanctuary where you can reconnect with the healing power of nature, renew yourself in the inviting waters of the river and nourish your body with fresh country food. The homestead looks out over the river and is surrounded by 20 acres of natural gullies, extensive park -like gardens, native shrubs, orchards, vegetable garden and duck pond. The Fund has been created to assist men to participate in Body Electric workshops who may not otherwise be able to attend due to financial reasons. You can now contribute to the Fund through donations, or apply to the Fund for a Scholarship. |
