There can be a tendency for women to go through life feeling rushed or pressured, unheard or misunderstood. It can leave them yearning to be listened to, cared for, held.
With Body Talks we want to create an opportunity for women to meet and chat with other women they can relate to, and feel safe with. We hope to foster a group of like-minded women with whom you can build that unique bond of female friendship; rediscovering what can be a much-longed-for sense of inclusion, validation and support.
Body Talks will be a facilitated series of opportunities for women. hopefully on a monthly basis, to get together and share the joys and the challenges of being a woman. These get togethers will be a chance for you to spend time with the kind of women you can feel at home with, talk openly with and share your heart with. Join this gathering and explore the best of how women can be there for each other. You will have the opportunity to share your own stories, or just listen to others share theirs.
The Body Talks will be a relaxed get-together on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, in Sydney from 4.30pm until 6pm on Saturday, 1 April 2017.
Women of all ages and orientations are welcome to attend, whether you are a graduate or not. If you know of someone who might benefit from joining this group, or a friend who wants to know more about the work of Body Electric, please forward this to her.
